We often receive information from other local clubs or the Potomac Valley Association, which is our regional branch of the USATF organization through which our athletes participate in the Junior Olympics. Below you'll find various postings and flyers for other club events.
PLEASE NOTE: MYTF provides this information to its participants and other viewers of this website SOLELY for informational purposes. Posting of notices on this site does NOT constitute an endorsement of the organization or its event by MYTF!
With the exception of the Junior Olympics-specific events, if you are interested in participating in any of these events, you must contact the event coordinator directly, *NOT* MYTF. Please note that often these conflict with our own MYTF events; we post them for those who may not be running on a given weekend, for siblings, and for those who were unable to register for MYTF this season.

USA Track & Field will be hosting a Level 1 Coaching Certification School March 10-11 at Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Please encourage your coaches to take advantage of this outstanding professional development opportunity.
The course is taught by trained USATF instructors and is the only Track & Field curriculum to be accredited by NCACE. It covers the technical basis for each event, training theory, and practical applications that can be used by coaches to improve practice quality and athlete experience. This is exceptionally important training for newer or younger coaches. More experienced coaches find Level 1 schools to be helpful, enjoyable, informative, and stimulating.
Please help spread the word so that coaches in need of this important training know that it is available. We would very much appreciate it if you would forward this email to your track coaches and Athletic Directors in your community. Please know the early registration discount ($50) expires on Friday, February 24.

Liberty University Indoor Track Complex. The track itself is the facility’s most dynamic feature, and one of only a handful of indoor tracks in the U.S. to offer a six-lane, 200-meter, hydraulically banked oval. Other such tracks are located at Navy, Nebraska, Penn State, Texas A&M and VMI. VMI and Liberty are the only schools to have banked tracks that feature a specially formulated surface manufactured by Beynon, the company that resurfaced Liberty’s outdoor Matthes-Hopkins Track Complex and the University of Oregon’s Hayward Field, site of the United States Olympic Trials in 2008, 2012 and 2016.
