MYTF Director: Jennifer Gatewood Borsos
Jennifer started with MYTF as a parent volunteer for the Spring 2017 season, co-leading a weekly practice for the last 4 seasons. As a former partner in a large global consulting company, Jennifer brings extensive experience in planning and managing large programs to MYTF. Jennifer's son Matthew (9) is a MYTF participant and her daughter Megan (15) is a field hockey player. Her husband Dave Borsos served as a board member, and then Treasurer, for McLean Youth Athletics (MYA).
Head Coach: Adam Knudson
Coach Adam is a USATF-certified coach and has served as the Head Coach at McLean Youth Track & Field for two seasons, after also coaching the field events for several seasons prior. Adam loves the field part of track and field. In high school and college Adam specialized in the high jump, long jump, triple jump, and hurdles. He also participated in several Decathlons in his day. While at graduate school, Coach Adam served as Carnegie Mellon University's field event coach. Adam is thrilled to be the current MYTF Head Coach and is looking forward to another great year.
Timing and Results: *OPEN POSITIONS*
We do have one Head Timer identified for our younger age group (5-8) for the coming Spring 2019 season, but if you would be willing to help fill this role for the older age group (9-14), please let us know ASAP! We promise it's learnable - one of our previous Head Timers left terrific, clear, laminated instructions!

Along with the shift to separate Director and Head Coach positions, MYTF also set up an Advisory Board consisting of several parent volunteers with extensive MYTF experience, the Director and current Head Coach, and past Head Coaches as ex-oficio members. As MYTF is a subsidiary organization of McLean Youth Athletics, the Board serves only an advisory role, helping to ensure the program's adherence to its core mission and philosophy, and guiding the Director and Head Coach accordingly.
The Spring 2017 season has a very committed group of Assistant Coaches who help run the six weekly practice session as well as the weekly Track & Field/Cross-Country Meets. A HUGE round of applause to these volunteers who give generously of their time each week, and that we hope will all return next year!
We are able to run the program we do at the cost we do because our parents (and others!) step up to volunteer across the board. In addition to all the coaches, several people serve in critical administrative roles, helping to keep everything moving behind the scenes. Please note that some of these folks also volunteer as coaches - we could not be more grateful for their dedication!
